'July is easily one of the best months of the year.' Aha! that may have sounded like a controversial statement but before you distract yourself with sentimental reasons as to why some other month should be the best, read again...'July is easily one of the best months of the year.' With emphasis on the phrase 'one of,' which automatically makes it clear that whatever month you would rather nominate, can also be 'one of' so breathe easy as there is more depth to be read.

Now for a month that officially marks the rainy season, the month of July gives room for a lot of growth, lushness, greenery, abundance and beauty which when properly utilized can lead to a broadband of opportunities and that is why you should take an introspective look at your life today. Ask yourself the right questions as regards your accomplishments, dreams and all that makes up your essence.

Have you achieved all you hoped to achieve this year? Or have you barely scratched the surface? Do you feel like you are in a race against time with nothing to show for it? What are those dreams you had for the year? The first half is gone and the other half is just beginning, do you already feel like it is too late to join the go getters?

While you ponder on these questions, try viewing your surrounding from an elevated point or simply put, from a higher ground. You could go up a flight of stairs and look out the window, just so you can recreate the feeling of having the world beneath your feet. Then see just how alive everything seems. The hurrying of feet as a result of wet grounds, the smooth movement of wheels on tarred roads as a result of wet grounds are all the introspection you need to feel the essence of this exercise.

Then think up that great plan or dream you are yet to achieve and imagine it being touched by the rains. Let it come alive in your head and the moment it does, get to work, push until this dream gets wet enough to come alive and become a reality.

Instead of cursing all the way to your destination because you have been drenched by an unexpected July rain, let each drop remind you of that thing you are yet to accomplish, that height you haven't attained and rather than see your drenched form, see a dream that has come alive… because the truth is you are what you see.

Just as Hilary Duff once sang, 'let the rain come down and wet my dreams'. Indeed let this month be about your dreams becoming a reality. It is not too late to dream, neither is it too late to bring this dream to life.

So even as you set out to enjoy this month, remember that it is not about the surfaces touched by the rains, but it is indeed about your dreams being wet by the rains. Today and for the rest of this month the term 'wet dreams' have been redefined to mean 'reality, greatness and accomplishments.'

Now wouldn't you want to have 'wet dreams'?..XoXo.
