Popular Nigerian content creator Mark Angel has shared his struggles from a difficult 2024, revealing he lost $3.7 million in forex trading and faced overwhelming debt. In an emotional Instagram post on Sunday, Angel described how the financial loss led to a dark period in his life, during which he lost his properties to loan sharks and felt hopeless.
The setback was followed by a career-shaking scandal, which revealed the true nature of his friendships and brought him closer to God. Despite the hardships, Angel expressed gratitude for the support of his family, friends, ex-wife, daughters, pastor, and social media manager, who helped him through the challenges.
Reflecting on the tough year, he wrote, “2024 was the hardest year of my life, but it was also the year God drew me closer to Him. Through the ashes, He taught me resilience, faith, and the true meaning of grace.”
