Nollywood actress Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju and her husband, Chef Fregz, have joyfully announced the arrival of their second child, another baby boy. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram on December 8, 2024, posting heartwarming pictures. The first image featured the family of four leaving the hospital with their newborn, while the second was a throwback to when they welcomed their first son.
In her caption, Akindoju reflected on the blessing of their new addition, writing:
“2024 gave us… a crown of God-given life as we bask in the joy of the Lord that we continue to have, enjoying God’s gift as we walk in His mercy all the days of our lives. Our beloved is here!”
She introduced their newborn’s name with a heartfelt message:
“ADÉÌYÈOLÚ MONOYOORITSE CHIOKE MOBÁÀÁNÚOLÚWARÌN ÀYÀNFĘ. Bonus name: Adéjagunmólú: The one with the crown who always triumphs in battle/Royalty triumphs in battle. P.S – you can call him Adéìyèolú or Adéìyè.”
Back in October 2024, Akindoju revealed her pregnancy in an Instagram post, sharing a video of herself cradling her baby bump with the caption: “Cooking… literally. 💕💕#Pregnancy #BabyNumber2 #JourneyToPartyof4 #àṣéwẹ́rẹ́niṣẹ́olúwa.”
Akindoju and Chef Fregz tied the knot in 2018 in a star-studded wedding attended by Nollywood heavyweights like Rita Dominic and Adesua Etomi. The couple welcomed their first child, Adeoreofe, in February 2021. Now, with their new addition, their family grows stronger and more joyful.
