Award-winning singer Adekunle Gold has hinted at a collaboration with Davido on the latter’s highly anticipated album, 5ive, set for release on March 15, 2025.

AG Baby took to X to cryptically reference the project, sparking speculation about his guest appearance. Additionally, leaked studio pictures of the duo suggest they are working on what could be their second collaboration, following their 2021 hit High.

Adekunle Gold has a history with Davido, having also penned the hit song 1 Milli from Davido’s 2019 album A Good Time.

Davido has described 5ive as “the best album I ever made.” The project has already produced chart-topping singles, including Awuke featuring YG Marley and Funds featuring Chike and OdumoduBlvck. Another confirmed collaboration is with Omah Lay.

With 5ive, Davido aims to match or surpass the success of his Grammy-nominated fourth album, Timeless, further cementing his legacy as one of Afrobeats’ biggest stars.
