Defending champions Manchester City claimed a 2-nil win over relegation threatened Nottingham Forest, and are now in second place on 79 points, one point behind leaders Arsenal on the log.
Pep Guardiola’s men still have a game in hand over their title rivals, and next play Wolverhampton, while Arsenal next play Bournemouth.
Liverpool are significantly out of the title race, after another 2-2 draw against West Ham at the weekend.
