Nigerian rapper OdumoduBlvck has addressed his ongoing issues with veteran artist Jaywon, describing him as a friend but maintaining that their friendship doesn’t exempt Jaywon from criticism. Speaking on Hip TV’s Trending, OdumoduBlvck mocked Jaywon for relying on his 13-year-old hit song Odun Yi, which remains popular annually for its New Year message.
Jaywon, often compared to Mariah Carey for the song’s recurring relevance, dismissed the criticism as a badge of honor. He also advised OdumoduBlvck to move past their perceived feud, which began after Jaywon called the rapper “not all that.” In response, OdumoduBlvck released a diss track of the same name.

Despite their exchanges, the relationship between the two artists remains a mix of camaraderie and rivalry, with occasional online confrontations.
