Nigerian skit maker Taaooma and her husband Abula have announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl named Amani Korede Makeda Greene. The exciting news was shared on December 5, 2024, through a joint Instagram post, revealing that their daughter was born on November 7, 2024.
The couple’s fans quickly flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages and well-wishes. Singer Teni wrote, “Congratulations!!!!! Omotuntun jojolo,” while content creator Emma ohmygod expressed surprise, saying, “Omoooooooo! Una do this one!!” Nkechi Blessing added, “Omg😩😍 big big congratulations Tao👏🏻👏🏻❤️💃🏻💃🏻.”
Taaooma and Abula, who met in Ilorin, Kwara State, during his NYSC year, bonded over their shared passion for filming and editing. Abula proposed to Taaooma in 2020 during a trip to Namibia, where she grew up. Taaooma recalled the surprise proposal, “The proposal came as a shock to me because I had no clue he was planning this right under my nose… it was an amazing feeling.”
The couple got married in January 2021, keeping the wedding a secret until their first anniversary. Their family has now grown, marking a new chapter in their lives.
