Nigerian superstar Davido has officially announced the title of his highly anticipated fifth album, 5ive. The album, described as deeply personal and reflective of his journey, is set for release on March 14, 2025.

In an Instagram post, the four-time Grammy nominee revealed the project will showcase his “story, truth, and growth.” To build momentum, Davido is releasing a new single titled Funds featuring Chike and OdumoduBlvck, dropping at midnight on December 6, 2024.

The track is the second single from the album, following Awuke, which featured YG Marley. Fans can also look forward to a collaboration with fellow Nigerian star Omah Lay, who has called their joint effort a “perfect partnership.”

Davido’s last album, Timeless, broke records, setting high expectations for 5ive. As excitement builds, fans await more details, including the full tracklist and guest appearances.

“Thank you for riding with me,” Davido wrote in his post. “Let’s make history again!” Pre-orders for 5ive are now available.
