LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, made NBA history on Sunday, playing together for the first time for the Los Angeles Lakers in a preseason game against the Phoenix Suns. LeBron impressed with 19 points in 16 minutes, while Bronny went scoreless in over 13 minutes.

LeBron shared his excitement, saying, “It’s definitely a moment I’ll never forget. As a father, it means everything.” He also described the surreal experience of standing next to his son on the court, likening it to being in “The Matrix.”

Lakers coach J.J. Redick praised the moment, noting it shows LeBron’s longevity and Bronny’s hard work. LeBron said playing with Bronny has given him new energy, saying, “It’s pure joy… We push each other.”

Bronny, motivated by critics, said, “I’m turning that criticism into fuel.” He is expected to spend most of his rookie season in the G-League, while the Lakers begin their regular season on October 22 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
