Snapchat’s global user base saw continued growth, adding 11 million daily active users in the last quarter, reaching 443 million, a 9% increase. However, its U.S. user count remains steady at 100 million annually. Snap, Snapchat’s parent company, reported a 15% revenue rise to $1.37 billion for Q3, exceeding expectations, though it posted a $153 million loss, improved from a $368.3 million loss last year. Revenue, largely from advertising, is projected to reach $1.51–$1.56 billion in Q4. Snap’s stock rose 7% in after-hours trading after a $500 million share buyback announcement.
